Patient Experience: A smooth and efficient referral journey into podiatry.

Navigating a healthcare referral process can often feel daunting, but my experience was refreshingly straightforward and efficient from start to finish.

After speaking with my GP, I was provided with the relevant email address to initiate the referral. I sent my initial enquiry and received a prompt response, including a referral form to complete. The process was clear and easy to follow, with no unnecessary delays or complications.

Within just two to three weeks of submitting the form, I received a letter inviting me to call and arrange an appointment. I was able to secure a convenient date, and the appointment itself took place within two weeks of booking.

From the moment I sent my initial email request to the day of my appointment, the entire process took approximately five weeks. The speed, efficiency, and communication throughout were truly impressive.

Overall, it was an absolutely brilliant experience that made what can sometimes be a stressful process feel simple, well-organised, and reassuring.
