Community Engagement: Guisborough Library

As part of our ongoing community engagement work, we visited Guisborough Library. Although it was a quieter session, we still had some valuable conversations and carried out one blood pressure check, which showed a healthy result and provided reassurance.

We spoke with one individual who uses the NHS App; her only concern was delays in notes appearing. She was unaware of the Pharmacy First service, giving us an opportunity to share this information. Another visitor highlighted digital barriers, explaining she cannot afford or use a smartphone, but she does access Pharmacy First services through other means.

While numbers were low, the visit provided useful insights and an important chance to raise awareness of available healthcare services.
