About this event
This year, for Organ Donation Week, we want as many local landmarks and buildings across the country to turn pink. In memory of more than 400 people who died last year, waiting for an organ transplant, and to encourage people to confirm their decision on the NHS Organ Donor Register.
We hope you can join us to commemorate those who died and to help us to highlight that there are more than 8000 people waiting for a life changing transplant.
Sadly, someone will die today waiting for a transplant, and most of us would accept an organ if we needed one. It takes just 2 minutes for someone to confirm their decision on the NHS Organ Donor Register.
