Healthwatch South Tees have found that patients at Redcar Primary Care Hospital and James Cook University Hospital were satisfied with their appointments.
Surveys were completed by 41 patients across both hospitals, and included questions about reception, patient experience and hospital staff, among others.
This piece of community engagement involved our Healthwatch Volunteers, who held stalls within the atrium at James Cook University Hospital. This provided an opportunity for service users, carers and friends and family to share feedback with us. We had a questionnaire available to assist with specific work plan areas, and also generic information gathering tools for anyone who wished to raise anything additionally.

This will mean changing the way that the service is delivered currently, and they are at the stage where they would like to gain views on the proposed model from past and current services users.
